Had a fantastic time the weather has been absolutely perfect. Two cool days and a mini storm. The facilities have been great - exceptional for kids. Visited Roc de Cazelle, La Roque gageac, Beynac, Perigueux, Brantome - canoed those weirs. Such a lazy and relaxing time had by all. The little bar in Bussac ( up the road ) can walk to, very relaxing open noon to 2pm but stays open until you leave. So great we are coming back next year.
The kids enjoyed Max and Louis's company it is great to have them to play with.
John and Jo have been perfect hosts. Next time we can have a jam ( music ) with our BBQ.
No one is ready to leave - counting the days down already.
From Tommy - I had a lovely time it was great - loved the pool. Very comfy beds. The bouncy castle was great fun. The storm was even better. We sat on the balcony and watched the storm. Very happy that you had sky TV. Hope to come back very, very, very soon.

Special thanks to John & Jo for being so accommodating on this holiday. Throughly recommend any of the local canoeing places. Gouffre de Padriac ( caves ) and local horsriding centre especially if you are a novice.

Fantastic cycling country - on and off road. Quiet roads and gentle hills.
We enjoyed the peace and tranquility ( well as much as you can with 3 children )
Many thanks to John & Jo for all your help and wonderful eggs and vegatables.
Graham and Pam, Francesca and Barry, Tony and Sarah - July 11th to July 18th
Francesca and Barry - have never felt so relaxed on holiday before. I wish we were staying for 2 weeks, even though the one week we have had has been amazing. Thank you so very much for making us feel so welcome. We won't forget the sunflowers.
Tony and sarah - Fabulous views, fabulous house and pool. Great places to visit Riberac and Brantome. John, Jo, Max and Louis were great hosts. Fabulous weather, if we wern't wage slaves we'd stay another week. Highly recommended. ( Great eggs )
P.S Ditto all the above plus thank you so much for the yummy eggs and veg - Sarah
Graham and Pam - A great welcome from Jo & Joh who added that unexpected warmth and friendship. A fantastic home, with character and beautifully clean and every convenience. The setting speaks for itself but the comaraderie of Jo & John and the boys adds something special. Gemma ( 11 months ) loved the baby swing. Thanks to you all you deserve success.
PS The bride felt very welcome if a little conspicuous.
Dan and Mikaela, Liam, Scarlet and Rosie. Paul and Jo, Rebecca and Thomas - Seven Oaks - July 18th to July 31st
Another fantastic holiday, with great weather and perfect hosts. Thoroughly recommend canoeing at Renamon, especially with a picnic.
Hopefully we'll make it a hat trick next year.
Thanks for all the eggs and veg
PS the balcony is the perfect location for storm watching.
Jenny and Justin with Joe, Ben and Niamh, Steph and Bob with Lottie and Adam - August 1st to August 15th
All have had a fantastic time, house and location have been great and all are returning to England totally chilled and several pounds heavier. Weather has been absolutely fantastic except for one washout day and too much at times for even the hardy sunbathers amongst us, so much so that the sun melted the spines on 3 out of the 4 books being read.
Children have been spoilt for choice and all had a great time. We were also lucky enough to get a tip off our family in England about a meteor shower so dragged our sunbeds ( an wine of course )down onto the football pitch where we saw 60+ shooting stars, family in England saw 1 ha ha!
Didn't actually go out hardly at all so have very few recommendations. Horse riding at Lisle well worth the money and probably children's highlight of the holiday although there was a bit of confusion over time. Don't be fooled like I was to lead the smallest cutest pony, he was by far the most trouble!!
Many thanks to Jo & John for all their help in booking things, sorting out my camera and their constant supply of fresh veg. Kids have loved feeding the chickens who true to Jo's word eat anything, Bombay potatoes was one of their last meals from us so you should have some tasty eggs in the coming weeks. Was woken up this morning by gun shots so can vouch for anything on the spit roast at the fete in Lisle this weekend will be fresh.
From Lottie - The house has been absolutely massive! Max and Louis have been great fun! Bouncy castle great! Pool great! Garden fab! Ping pong table excellent!
Beth & Chris - with Oliver, Sebastian, Imogen. Granma Ricci and Grandma Kimber
August 15th to August 29th
Fabulous house perfectly set up for kiddies. The boys don't want to go home; particuarly gutted as they made friends withMax and Louis tonight ( our last night - typical !!!)
The chickens ( feeding & collecting eggs ) have been a particular highlight of the trip, along with the vegetable garden which John & Jo kindly let us help ourselves to.
Trips out have included canoeing at Les Eyzies, water park at Angouleme and a beautiful meal at The chateau in Chalais ( very, very resonable ). We have left leaflets for the last two in the drawer.
A wonderful time was had by all, weather up and down but always warm.
Would definately look to return in the future - won't be next year as noticed before we left you were already booked up!
Imogen learnt to climb the stairs during our stay, unfortunately, which was a pain for us but the kids found it hilarious.
